Ballroom - Instructor
Rebecca Michelle Bartlett was raised in Colorado and found her love for dance at the age of eight when she found herself crying in the audience after seeing her first ballet,The Red Shoes. She studied at dance studios all over the state including training at The Colorado Ballet Society. In addition to her ballet experience she is trained in jazz, modern, contemporary, rhythm and smooth. After receiving her BFA in Acting from the Peggy Dow Helmrich School of Drama at University of Oklahoma in 2015, Rebecca moved to Los Angeles to where she found herself competing in American Rhythm and Smooth as well as choregraphing for many artists. In addition to her passion for teaching Rebecca spends her time producing and acting in films and choreographing for music videos and movies. Her favorite aspect of teaching lies in her ability to improve her students understanding of technique and body awareness while they dance. She strives to empower her students by drawing on their mental, physical, and creative strengths during both group classes and private lessons. She enjoys sharing knowledge while encouraging self-expression at every turn! For Rebecca, dance has been a form of self-love and therapy. It has taught her discipline, tenacity, and joy and she aims to deliver these same qualities to her students.
