Willem De Vries has been a professional Ballroom & Latin dancer, instructor, competitor, and choreographer for 20 years. During that time he has competed and taught around the world and won various regional, national, and international awards and titles including his rise to become the United States and North American Men’s Latin Champion as well as earning the World Same-Sex Men’s Latin dance title in 2006. He has worked extensively in film & TV both in front of the camera and behind the scenes. His dancing has been featured on ‘So You Think You Can Dance’, in Dreamworks animated features ‘Puss In Boots’ & ‘Madagascar 3’ as well as numerous occasions of having danced for Disney and ABC, most recently choreographing episodes for season 1 of ABC’s ‘The Catch’.
